I took up hot yoga a couple of months ago, and have to say that I'm totally in love with it.  I go anywhere from 4-6 days a week and it makes me feel great!  I feel stronger, more centered, less anxious and healthier.  One problem is that during my practice a few weeks ago, I tweaked my hip and it's been killing me ever since.  I haven't stopped the yoga, but I think I may need to take a few days or a week off to rest my poor hip.  I feel like an old Grandma; so bummed!  I owe it to myself to take care of it though; having a hip problem this early in my life would not be a good thing.

Anyway, I've been working on a pose called 'tripod balance' for a while and finally mastered it! It's really not that hard...but I have always had really weak arms so it's a big deal for me!  The next step in this pose, is raise the legs straight up to 'tripod headstand'.  I'm not quite there yet, it takes a lot of core strength and balance, but I'm working on it!
